16 years of passion
I am more and more convinced that on the eighth day Our Lord looked out over the created world. He saw the small pearl-shaped island just south of India and noted that a special paradise had been created. In order not to be too good, he decided to remind the residents and visitors on a regular basis that life should not always be easy. During my 16 years of passion and work with Sri Lanka, it has been;

civil war, tsunami, terrorist attack, pandemic and most recently environmental disaster due to shipwreck.

However, Sri Lanka and its inhabitants have always come back and, unlike us here in the Nordic countries, have looked ahead instead of dwelling on what has been.

Together with our friends in Sri Lanka, we are now taking new steps and looking ahead - beyond the pandemic and shipwreck. I have previously communicated (after my last trip in April / May) a significant optimism.

Sri Lanka has surpassed Asia and the world average for vaccination levels and over 50% of adults over 30 have already received at least one dose. If the current vaccine rate is maintained, the country is considered one of the safest destinations to visit in Asia.

With this format of newsletter, we try to create a better overview of Sri Lanka and what can be offered to both the tourist and the business visitor.
